2017 & 2018 Illustration Institute Faison Residency Artist 

Lizzy is a multi-talented illustrator whose artwork appears in picture books, magazines, games, and on walls throughout her community. She studied art and art history at Connecticut College, as well as drawing and illustration at the School of Visual Arts in New York City. Lizzy is the illustrator of more than 25 children's books and the author and illustrator of Plants Feed Me, Good Enough to Eat: A Kid's Guide to Food and Nutrition, Hello Baby!, and The Busy Body Book: A Kid's Guide to Fitness. Her book  How Do You Feel? was first sketched at Illustration Institute’s Faison Residency.

Illustration Institute raises appreciation for and awareness of illustration in its many forms. It offers people of all ages the opportunity to learn from master artists and working professionals through exhibitions, workshops, and talks at public libraries, museums, schools, and other community venues.
