2019 Illustration Institute Faison Residency Artist
Loveis is a freelance illustrator based in Los Angeles from Washington. They have worked with clients such as The New Yorker, Google, lnstagram, L’Oreal, The New York Times, REI, Cartoon Network, and BUST Magazine. Their work is largely centered around female representation. Plants and organic forms often show up in their works as well. Recent projects include a large mural for Google Artists in Residence and a Black History Month illustration for Instagram.

About Illustration Institute
Illustration Institute raises appreciation for and awareness of illustration in its many forms. It offers people of all ages the opportunity to learn from master artists and working professionals through exhibitions, workshops, and talks at public libraries, museums, schools, and other community venues. Based in Maine, this non-profit arts organization was founded by Nancy Gibson-Nash and Scott Nash in 2016.
In June 2017, Illustration Institute launched a summer artist residency on Peaks Island, bringing narrative artists to stay, create, and share their work and creative process with the community.
