Acclaimed artist Susan Farrington began making medals after working on costumes for a production of Pirates of Penzance that her daughter was in. The medals were part of the Major-General's costume and were Susan's favorite part of costume-making. After the show, she kept making them.
Susan generously donated these handmade medals to support Illustration Institute's mission to raise appreciation and awareness of illustration in its many forms. See more of Susan's work at susanfarrington.com.
