The story behind Wake Up!, as told by Scott Nash:
I don't meditate very well but practice mindful napping. Fifteen minutes, early afternoon, pen in hand, and sketchbook on my chest.
I often sketch something before dozing off. One day, I doodled a seated Buddha, then dreamed I was shuffling across a smooth wooden floor toward a statue of my Buddha fully rendered in beautiful detail. As I admired the peaceful expression on his golden face, he suddenly turned angry and demanded, "WAKE UP!"
I woke up quickly but didn't forget that urgency. And there's no shortage of things demanding our attention now.
