About Illustration Institute
Illustration Institute raises appreciation for and awareness of illustration in its many forms. It offers people of all ages the opportunity to learn from master artists and working professionals through exhibitions, workshops, and talks at public libraries, museums, schools, and other community venues. Based in Maine, this non-profit arts organization was founded by Nancy Gibson-Nash and Scott Nash in 2016.
In June 2017, Illustration Institute launched a summer artist residency on Peaks Island, bringing narrative artists to stay, create, and share their work and creative process with the community. The Illustration Institute Collection is made up of works generously donated by past residents. Purchase of this print supports Illustration Institute. Thank you!
